"Dear Mustang Survival Team, On behalf of the entire Team Fly Girls—the all-women crew preparing for the 2026 Race to Alaska—we want to extend our deepest gratitude for the generous discount you provided on your inflatable PFDs. Your support means the world to us as we gear up for this grueling 750-mile human- and wind-powered adventure from Port Townsend, WA, to Ketchikan, AK. We've equipped our team with your Atlas 190 DLX PFDs, and they are absolutely perfect for our needs. The low-profile, lightweight design allows full freedom of movement—essential when we're pedaling, sailing, or handling lines in rough conditions—without ever feeling restricted. The hydrostatic inflation technology gives us complete confidence that they'll perform reliably if needed, while staying comfortable during long hours on the water. The fit is spot-on for our all-female team, and we love how unobtrusive they are; we can wear them all day and almost forget they're there until safety demands otherwise. Your commitment to high-quality, innovative gear is helping keep us safe as we push our limits in one of the toughest races out there. We're proud to represent Mustang Survival on this journey and can't thank you enough for believing in Team Fly Girls. Tight lines and fair winds, Team Fly Girls teamflygirls. com"
"The new Mustang Survival Atlas PFD is exactly what you want when heading offshore. The fit is exceptional, so comfortable that you hardly notice you're wearing it, even when you're busy hoisting a spinnaker or flaking the mainsail. It moves with you, not against you, which makes all the difference during long, active passages. Not only does it feel great, but it also looks slick, clean lines and a modern profile that doesn’t scream “bulk. ” But what really sets it apart is what happens when it inflates: the new bladder design is seriously impressive. It’s shaped to deflect oncoming waves, offering better protection in rough seas, and the integrated spray hood is both practical and easy to deploy, a great touch for real offshore conditions. The Atlas PFD also comes fully loaded: whistle, light, and integrated harness are all included, so you're not left hunting for add-ons. It's clearly designed by people who understand the demands of serious sailing. If you're heading offshore and want peace of mind without sacrificing comfort or style, the Mustang Atlas is the PFD to have."
"The very Top of the line quality and surprisingly extremely quick delivery. Looking forward to purchase more gear."
"An amazing PFD for offshore racing."
"Great product, very well made and very comfortable!!"
"A close inspection of the new Mustang Atlas 190 shows just how much thought has gone into its design. Yes, it's a high buoyancy offshore sailing life jacket, but there are subtle details that make it the best on the market. 1. The adjustment points on the chest strap have little webbing "tabs" that make it far easier to adjust or remove the device. Clever! 2. The spray hood is removable at some point in the future so it can be replaced if the clear visor becomes cloudy (as has happened with my other life jackets. ) 3. There are numerous folding "instructions" that make it easy to repack the inflation chamber, which can be a challenge with other brands. 4. The tether attachment loop is made from webbing (lightweight), but also stiff enough to be easy to find and to attach to it. 5. Everything is included: storm hood, light, whistle, Hammar inflator, lots of SOLAS tape. 6. The hardware is top-notch. Nice aluminum buckle, nice aluminum inflator handle. When packed, the Atlas is surprisingly comfortable to wear, unlike some of the more rigid offshore inflatables. While I haven't had a chance to test it in rough conditions, the evidence seems to indicate that in-water performance will be excellent."
